Joanne Fox (Darby) 1957 - 2005

Joanne Fox began figure skating at five years of age. She was the Derrick Skating Club's first double gold medalist (figures and free skating) and competed in divisionals in Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan. Joanne was a popular coach at the club for 27 years until she became ill with leukemia. She loved figure skating and was beloved by her students and their parents.
